Industrial Floors
Floor systems that jointly address heavy rack load, forklift traffic, abrasion and joint durability in production, warehouse and logistics areas.
Food Industry
Non-porous coating systems that jointly meet HACCP hygiene, thermal-shock resistance, chemical resistance and R11–R12 slip resistance.
Parking Areas
Water-proofing and surface protection with EN 1504-2 OS8/OS11 traffic and crack-bridging systems in multi-storey, indoor and outdoor car parks.
Laboratories

In pharmaceutical, chemical and technical laboratories the floor must combine resistance to aggressive reagents with static-charge control on the same surface.

Broad-spectrum chemical and solvent resistance

Conductive / static-dissipative surface (ESD, 10⁶–10⁹ Ω)

Non-porous, liquid-tight and decontaminable surface

Seamless coved skirting and spill-containment details

Low particle shedding (clean-room compatible)

In a laboratory the floor must behave in a controlled way against both chemical spills and static electricity: aggressive reagents must not dissolve the surface, and accumulated static charge must not disturb sensitive instruments or experiments. Scientific Floor combines chemical resistance with controlled conductivity in the 10⁶–10⁹ Ω range in one system, delivering a decontaminable, clean-room-compatible surface.

Medical Areas
Seamless, coved, liquid-tight and disinfectant-resistant hygienic surfaces in hospitals, operating theatres and clinics.
Decorative Floors
Floors that combine quartz/flake texture, gloss-to-matte finish and UV stability with durability in showrooms, stores and corporate spaces.
Conductive Floors

In electronics manufacturing, technical laboratory and explosive-atmosphere areas the floor must drain static to earth in a controlled, safe way rather than eliminate it.

Earthed ESD control (2.5×10⁴–10⁶ Ω system resistance)

Equipotential grounding grid via copper earthing tape

Electronics manufacturing, ATEX / explosive-atmosphere safety

Sensitive-equipment protection through controlled static discharge

Compliance with IEC 61340-5-1 static-control practice

On a conductive floor the aim is not to eliminate static but to drain it to earth in a controlled, safe way: in electronics assembly a single discharge can destroy a board, and in an ATEX area a spark is a hazard. With a copper grounding grid Scientific Floor installs a certified conductive coating in the 2.5×10⁴–10⁶ Ω range, keeping discharge within a measurable limit.

WHG Floors

In areas with a chemical or liquid-pollutant risk the floor must be a certified barrier that contains leaks, providing chemical resistance and documentable impermeability together.

WHG / AwSV (German Water Resources Act) compliant system

Liquid-tight, certified containment

Resistance to aggressive chemicals and solvents

Environmental protection with bund / barrier detailing

Non-porous structure with a documentable system certificate

WHG floors are a direct subject of water- and environmental-protection legislation: in a chemical storage, filling or processing area the floor must be a certified barrier that contains any leak. Not only chemical resistance but documentable impermeability is required. Scientific Floor certifies liquid-tightness and chemical resistance together with tested, WHG/AwSV-compliant systems.
